Please find below the announcement from the Graduate School regarding the course withdrawal for the Spring 2026 semester.

 

1. Application: Students must apply online directly through the Yonsei Portal (Academic Information System). 

  Period: March 17 (Tue), 2026, 10:00 – March 19 (Thu), 2026, 23:59

2. Important Notes

 

 a. Please note that the course withdrawal period has been changed to the 3rd week after the start of the semester.

 b. Colleges and departments are requested to accurately inform all General Graduate School students of the withdrawal schedule.

 

3. Details

 

a. Eligibility: Graduate School students who wish to withdraw from courses in the Spring 2026 semester

b. Method: Students must apply online via the Yonsei Portal (Academic Information System → Academic Affairs → Course → Course Withdrawal Request).

 

4. Important Notes Regarding Course Withdrawal

 

 a. Students may not register for a replacement course after withdrawing from a course, and must remain enrolled in at least one course after withdrawal.

 b. Withdrawn courses will be excluded from grade evaluation and earned credits, and a “W” (Withdraw) will appear on the official transcript.

 c. The record of a withdrawn course will not be deleted even if the course is retaken.

 d. Tuition fees for withdrawn courses will not be refunded.

 e. Withdrawal of undergraduate supplementary courses is also permitted only during the General Graduate School withdrawal period.
