1. Credit Transfer for Major Courses

    - A course taken at a previous university must be substantially similar in content and nature to a course offered at Yonsei University, including coverage of the topics indicated in the weekly schedule of the Yonsei course syllabus.

    - The number of credits earned for the course at the previous university must be equal to or greater than that of the corresponding course offered at Yonsei University.

    - Students must have earned at least a B+ or a score of 70% or higher on an absolute grading scale for the course taken at the previous university. If multiple courses are combined for credit transfer, a weighted average will be applied, provided that the grade for each course is C+ or higher.

    - To be recognized as a course with a laboratory component, the transferred course must also include a laboratory component. However, courses only with a laboratory component without lectures cannot be transferred as major credits.

    - Seminar and thesis/dissertation courses cannot be transferred as major credits.

3. Credit Transfer and Course Acknowledgement for Exchange Students

    - Exchange students may transfer credits for up to two courses per semester and four courses per academic year.

    - Courses must be taken for a letter grade equivalent to C+ or higher.

    - Courses taken on a Pass/Non-pass (P/NP) basis are not eligible for credit transfer.

    - Prior approval from the faculty member in charge of the course before the exchange program is required for MB/MRs.
